Knights Basketball Academy, it's an all-year-round basketball program for boys and girls ages 5 to 18 years old. The founder Rommel Colina Ex-professional basketball player, originally from Venezuela has been working with kids since 2011, he has been helping Florida kids develop their skills, dribbling, shooting, and confidence in and out of the court. Coach Colina came to the United States in 2002, He graduated from McMurry University in 2006, with a Bachelor's degree in Arts (Spanish Major) and a Business Administration Minor.
Coach Colina is married to Maritza Ceballo a nutrition plant-based and personal coach, they have 3 kids, Jesus, Adriana, and Mia. Fellow Christian family and they love to help others.
Colina's passion for basketball started at a young age. he gained a scholarship in the USA to play as a point guard and shooting guard in college, also he played for several years professionally in Venezuela. he has been helping teams as a volunteer, assistant, and head coach. In 2021, he was the Varsity Masters Academy high school basketball coach for the boys, he is the CEO of a Semi-professional (adults) basketball league in Miami where around 200 athletes compete each year.

Now, in October 2022 Vero Knights Basketball Academy was born to mentor, elevate, and educate kids and teens about the game of basketball in the Vero Beach area and surroundings. This academy focuses on developing and preparing them to be a better person in life.
