About Us
Vero Knights Basketball Academy, it's an all-year-round basketball program for boys and girls ages 7 to 18 years old. The founder Rommel Colina Ex-professional basketball player, originally from Venezuela has been working with kids since 2011, he has been helping Florida kids develop their skills, dribbling, shooting, and confidence in and out of the court. Coach Colina came to the United States in 2002, He graduated from McMurry University in 2006, with a Bachelor's degree in Arts (Spanish Major) and a Business Administration Minor.

Mission
Our Mission is to empower children and youth through basketball. We strive to create meaningful connections with our participants, foster leadership skills, promote healthy habits, and provide opportunities for personal growth and development.
Objectives:
1. To provide free or affordable basketball programs and activities to children and youth in need.
2. To promote physical fitness and healthy habits through basketball.
3. To build a sense of community and encourage social interaction among participants.
4. To foster leadership skills and develop self-confidence in young individuals.
5. To promote diversity and inclusion in sports by welcoming participants from all backgrounds and cultures.
Vision
Our target audience is children and youth between the ages of 5 and 20, who live in underprivileged communities or face socio-economic barriers to access sports programs. We will also engage with parents, educators, and community leaders to promote our mission and expand our reach.
